Michael Cutone is a veteran of US Army Special Forces (Green Berets), and Iraq and Afghanistan campaign. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts State Police Academy August 1999 with 74th RTT. Michael has a distinguished 21-year law enforcement career with the Massachusetts State Police. Throughout his law enforcement career, he wworked as a patrol officer in high crime urban areas. He is the creator of the C3 Policing Model featured on 60 Minutes, The New York Times and Police Chief Magazine. During his tenure in law enforcement, Michael was requested to present the C3 Policing Model to many international, federal, state, local law enforcement and academic agencies. He was invited to speak at the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference on anti-gang violence, and a two-year presenter of C3 Policing to the FBI’s Central American Community Impact Exchange (CACIE) at the White House. Instructor at Massachusetts State Police 85th RTT academy class, where he presented leadership and critical thinking classes.
Michael holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and was appointed as an Associate with the Belfer Center’s Science, Technology and Public Policy Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
He is the published author of The Leadership of Jesus: Ten Fundamentals of Leadership and is the 2013 recipient of the Difference Makers Award by BusinessWest for impacting lives in the local community through C3 Policing.
