Helping you discover, experience and proclaim the Catholic faith
The mission of the Office of Faith Formation in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed in Sacred Scripture and Tradition by assisting parishes in fulfilling the Church’s mission to evangelize and catechize. Committed to an active partnership between clergy, parish staff, catechists and families, we entrust our efforts with confidence to the Triune God. Through support, training and resources, catechetical leaders and catechists are prepared to nurture the faith of maturing believers in the way of discipleship which is characterized by an intimacy with Christ and his Church, is enriched by the Sacraments and prayer, and is demonstrated by a courageous witness of Christian charity and service.
